YOUR PATH TO
UNIVERSITY STUDIES

  • How to Choose a Study Program
To begin studying in Russia, you need to select a suitable academic program and submit an application. You can either apply directly through our website or contact an official representative in your country.
Be sure to specify the program and language of instruction you are interested in.
    Documents recommended for initial submission:
    • A copy of your passport (valid for at least 2 years from your planned date of entry to Russia — this is important for future visa extensions).
    • A secondary school certificate or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree diploma with transcripts.
If you do not yet have your passport or educational documents available, do not worry — send the documents you currently have so we can begin the preliminary process.
After reviewing your documents, we will provide a list of universities where you can study your chosen program.
  • Receiving the Letter of Consent
Before traveling to Russia, you may need to legalize your educational documents in the country where they were issued. This requires either an apostille or consular legalization. Without proper legalization, the university may refuse to accept your documents.
We will send you all required forms and documents for completion and signature. It is extremely important to fill them out carefully and accurately, strictly following your personal manager’s instructions.
The sooner we receive the completed documents, the faster we can issue your Letter of Consent and invoice for tuition, accommodation, and insurance.
Tuition payment must be made strictly within the deadline specified in the Letter of Consent. According to Russian legislation, we cannot submit documents to the university for the issuance of the official Invitation for Study until payment has been received.
Once payment is confirmed, all documents are forwarded to the university’s visa and passport department to prepare the official Invitation.
  • Receiving the Invitation
The official Invitation is issued by the regional Migration Service where the selected university is located. The process usually takes 35–45 days.
After the document is ready and payment has been completed, we send it to you or to your representative (if you applied through one). Upon receiving the Invitation, you may immediately apply for a student visa at the Consular Section of the Russian Embassy in your country.
  • Student Visa and Travel to Russia
After obtaining your student visa, you may plan your trip to Russia.
If you applied through a representative, they will advise you on the best time to purchase tickets, help organize group travel if applicable, and arrange airport pickup.
If you applied directly, stay in contact with your personal manager. They will inform you about the recommended arrival date, airport meeting arrangements, and transfer to your city of study.
Important: At least 10 days before arrival, you must inform us of your exact arrival date so we can arrange airport pickup and notify the university and dormitory to prepare for your arrival.
  • Arrival at the University and Initial Procedures
Upon arrival in your city of study, staff members will meet you and escort you to your dormitory.
During your first days, several mandatory procedures must be completed:
    • Migration registration — official registration of the international student at the university.
    • Fingerprinting and medical examination, including required tests — mandatory for all international students.
    • Obtaining the Certificate of Recognition of your educational documents, confirming their legal validity and granting the right to study officially at the university.
